Project Overview
An immersive WebXR/WebVR Progressive Web Application built for Johnson & Johnson. The Ottava™ simulation platform enables surgeons and medical professionals to engage in state-of-the-art interactive training. It faithfully replicates the tactile experience and intricate controls of actual surgical instruments in a frictionless, browser-based environment.
Key Contributions
I focused on driving core XR mechanics and performance. This included profiling and optimizing VR controller interactions to prevent motion sickness, developing complex 3D world-space user interfaces, and ensuring the application maintained flawlessly high frame rates (FPS) across both standalone headsets and modern devices.
